Accountability Report

In finance, an accountability report is a series of statements provided by a government agency or an agency acting on behalf of a government (a central bank, for example) to a government body. This report details the entity's performance in carrying out the duties assigned to it.

The Swiss National Bank must submit an accountability report to the Swiss Federal Assembly on an annual basis as part of its annual report.

The SNB accountability report outlines changes in the monetary and economic landscapes over the previous year, and the steps which have been taken by the SNB to fulfill its legal obligations.
