Chartist

A chartist is an analyst who tries to predict future market patterns by analyzing the market rates of securities.

Chartists – also known as technical traders – differ from fundamental analysts because they make predictions based on the market prices of company stocks and other investments. Fundamental analysts, on the other hand, make predictions based on the real value of the company, commodity or service which underlies the stock or other security.
