Dubai Financial Market (DFM)

The Dubai Financial Market is a securities exchange in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was one of the first securities exchanges to implement sharia compliance and to offer a broad range of sharia-compliant investment vehicles.

The exchange counts more than 50 members. It owns a controlling stake in the NASDAQ Dubai stock exchange.

More than 70 companies are listed on the DFM. Contracts traded include stocks, bonds, sukuk (Islamic bonds) and exchange traded funds (ETFs).

The Dubai Financial Market General Index (DFMGI) tracks the performance of stocks listed on the DFM.

Trading hours: Sunday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. GST (UTC+4)
Settlement cycle: T+2
