Federal Commercial Registry Office

The Swiss Federal Commercial Registry Office (FCRO) is a Swiss federal agency which collects data from the commercial register of each canton and publishes a list of all registered companies in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SOGC) and on the online Zefix central business index.

Switzerland uses a decentralized commercial registry system, with each canton maintaining its own commercial register. Cantonal commercial registers provide the FCRO with lists of registered enterprises in order to provide the general public with a country-wide database of registered companies.
