When I first came to Switzerland back in 2011, I took the time to visit the Atupri office in Zurich because it was the best deal for obligatory insurance at the time and I wanted to handle the signing process immediately in person rather than by mail.
The young lady at the desk seemed disinterested, told me I should just apply online, and half-heartedly explained that I couldn't apply there directly. I found that odd, considering I had taken the time to visit the office in person. The representative's conjured up customer service memories of my time in post-Soviet Russia. Since they seemed so uninterested in my business, I opted out and signed up with another insurer.
They may be a great insurer, but first impressions are everything :). I hope they will be able to change my mind someday.
