Have you ever gotten loans from Bitbond? What is your experience with Bitbond? Would you recommend it? How does it work?
I haven't used it, but from what I understand Bitbond uses bitcoin as the basis for loans. You can choose to have your loan denominated by bitcoin or U.S. dollars, and depending on the one you pick, the borrower must repay either a fixed amount of bitcoin or a fixed amount of U.S. dollars. The loan is transacted in bitcoin either way.
The concept of being able to lend internationally and so diversify your investments seems interesting. The returns they promise (13% and the like, seem unrealistic and unsustainable), but it could be an interesting opportunity for those who want to earn interest on their bitcoins in addition to possible capital gains.
