Hi there,
Shares in exchange traded funds (ETFs) can only be purchased through brokers. This sets ETFs apart from conventional mutual funds, which often sell shares directly to investors.
However, it is worth noting that the total expense ratio (TER) of ETFs is generally lower than that of conventional mutual funds. Depending on the amount you are investing, the lower costs of ETFs can easily make up for brokerage fees.
