I was approached by a salesperson who told me they are running a special promotion by which I can get a SWISS miles & more credit card and pay no annual fee the first year. The welcome gift for signing up is 12,000 miles. Can I sign up for the card, get the miles, and then cancel the card before the end of the year so I don't have to pay the 120 franc card fee?
