The new terms and conditions took effect on July 3, 2017. Anyone who continued to use a Coop Supercard after that date automatically granted their acceptance of the new terms and conditions by continuing to use the product.
One of the most important changes to the terms and conditions of the Coop Supercard is that when you use the card/membership when shopping through Coop's digital channels (online stores, for example), Coop has the right to harvest various user data including IP adresses, the dates on which you access services, click paths (how you manouver a mouse or finger around online stores, and more.
The data harvested by Coop can be used for marketing purposes, among other things. Third parties which have agreements with Coop can also access your data.
