How much does it cost to invest in ETFs, in addition to the money invested?
Hi there,
In addition to the cost of the face value of shares in exchange traded funds (ETFs), you will also need to pay ongoing fees in the form of the total expense ratio (TER). ETFs may have a front end load (fees for joining the fund) and a back end load (fees for selling your shares) and when applicable, these may be levied as a percentage of transaction volume or as flat-rate fees. Brokerage fees may also apply.
You can compare brokerage costs using the online broker comparison on moneyland.ch.
