In the University of Zurich alumni club magazine they advertised a special credit card from Bonuscard for UZH alumni. Is this card any good? What benefits does it provide? How does it compare to other credit cards?

The Alumni UZH Visa Bonus Card is a rebranded Bonus Card Visa Classic issued by BonusCard.ch AG, but it includes a few special privileges.
The primary advantage of the UZH card compared to the regular Bonus Card Visa Classic is that the annual fee is lower at 25 francs. What is more, this fee is waived when you spend more than 300 francs per annum. So if you use this credit card to make 300 francs or more of purchases every year, you do not pay an annual fee.
Another unique feature of this card is that Bonuscard.ch contributes a small portion of the revenues it earns off your card use to the UZH alumni association.
