I want to invest in a few ETFs as a test run. How can I buy ETFs in Switzerland?
Hi there,
In order to buy exchange traded fund (ETF) shares, you will need to have a custodial account with a broker. All ETFs are asigned a serial number (ISIN) and you will need to research the serial number of the ETF which you want to invest in. Once you have the ISIN, simply place an order with your broker specifying the ETF's ISIN and the number of shares you want to buy. The broker will purchase the ETF shares on your behalf.
