My hubby and I will be relocating to Lausanne for our careers and i am interested in knowing what we can expect to pay in taxes after settling there.

Hi there,

In Switzerland, the income of temporary residents is taxed at its source - meaning your taxes will be deducted directly from your income.

The tax deducted is made up of the average municipal taxes of all municipalities in a canton, plus cantonal and federal taxes.
