What is the minimum amount of interest a pension fund can pay in 2017?
Hi there,
The minimum interest rate which Swiss occupational pension funds (pillar 2) are required to use for compulsory occupational pension contributions is 1% in 2017.
The federal government adjusts this rate on an annual basis. For reference, the minimum interest rate was 1.75% in 2015 and 2.5% in 2005.
