Can somebody explain to me the difference between semi-comprehensive and comprehensive car insurance in Switzerland?
In Switzerland, insurance for damages like fire, hail, ice, and storms is called partial-casco car insurance. Collision car insurance covers damage to your car caused by accidents that you are at fault for, and for accidents that nobody is at fault for such as ice-slipping accidents. The combination of partial-casco car insurance and collision car insurance is called full-casco car insurance.
You can find detailed information in the guides to Swiss partial-casco car insurance and Swiss full-casco car insurance.
