Is there a minimum interest rate which pension funds in Switzerland have to pay for your pension fund savings?
Yes. The minimum interest rate for Swiss 2a pension fund savings is legislated by the Swiss Federal Government. In 2017, the minimum interest rate for second pillar savings is 1%. That is down from 1.25% in 2016 and 1.5% in 2013.
