Hi there,
Tax deductions vary between cantons and municipalities. However, you can generally claim a tax deduction for a home office. This deduction is normally based on your rent.
The prime requirements which much be met in order for you to be eligible for this deduction are: A specific room or rooms must be used as a home office; you carry out a significant part of your work in the room or rooms in question; you do not have the option of carrying out your work at your employer's premises due to time or space limitations.
