In addition to the internationally famous alternative currencies (i.e. Bitcoin) there are also a lot of alternative community currencies in Switzerland (Bonobo, Farinet, etc.) which have a fixed value against the Swiss franc. REKA money is another example.
Do these alternative currencies need to be counted as wealth for wealth tax purposes? If I receive part of my salary as Bonobo, REKA, Bitcoin, etc. do I need to declare this as taxable income?
