The term "qualifying period" refers to a period of time after you take out insurance during which you cannot make any claims. Many legal expenses insurance policies have qualifying periods of 3 months before you can file claims. Some apply qualifying periods to specific categories of legal expenses only. Still other policies do not have qualifying periods at all.
You can find applicable qualifying periods of legal insurance policies in the "Waiting period" field on the "Info" pages of policies included in the moneyland.ch legal expenses insurance comparison.
