Who is allowed to see my credit records? Are they available to the general public?
Hi there,
Anyone can access a credit report as long as they can prove that they have a bona fide reason to do so. Lenders whom you apply to for loans, service providers whom you apply to for services delivered on credit and owners of rental properties which you apply for - among others - can all request a copy of your credit report from credit bureaus.
Best regards from Moneyguru
