General Partnership

In Switzerland a general partnership (German: Kollektivgesellschaft, French: société en nom collectif) is a company classification which is commonly used by small businesses.

A general partnership must have a minimum of two founding partners and these partners must be people and not other legal entities such as corporations.

No minimum amount of capital is required in order to found a general partnership. General partnerships must be entered into a commercial register.
