Open-End Fund

An open-end fund is a type of investment fund which continually issues new shares upon demand.

Open-end funds must buy their shares back from shareholders upon request. This means that open-end fund shareholders can cash out their equity in the fund at any time.

Swiss open-end funds typically fall under the SICAV company designation.
