QNUPS

The term Qualifying Non-UK Pension Scheme (QNUPS) is used to denote a pension fund or trust domiciled outside of the United Kingdom (UK) which qualifies for certain tax benefits for UK tax purposes.

Many offshore retirement plans – including those available to non-UK residents for private retirement saving – fall under the QNUPS designation.
