Simple Partnership

In Switzerland a simple partnership (German: einfache Gesellschaft, French: société simple) is a company classification in which a minimum of two individuals act as partners in order to achieve a stated aim.

Both partners in a simple partnership pledge full and unlimited liability for the financial obligations of the company.

Simple partnerships do not have to be recorded in a commercial register. The creation of a simple partnership does not necessitate the creation of a legal contract, although creating a contract is recommended in many cases.
