Singapore Exchange (SGX)

The Singapore Exchange was formed through the merger of the Stock Exchange of Singapore and the Singapore International Monetary Exchange in 1999. Nearly 800 companies are listed on the SGX.

The exchange facilitates trading in stocks, real estate investment trusts (REITs), structured warrants, American depository receipts (ADRs), exchange traded funds (ETFs), bonds and derivatives (futures, options and swaps) based on commodities, currencies, dividends and equities.

The Straits Times Index (STI) is the primary benchmark index by which Singapore Exchange performance is measured.

Trading hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. SST (UTC+8)
Settlement cycle: T+3
