SMIM Index

The SMI Mid index tracks the performance of 30 key mid-cap stocks listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange which are not included in the Swiss Market Index (SMI).

The index is weighted by market capitalization. The forerunner of the index was normalized in 1999 at 100 points. In 2005, shortly after the index's launch as the SMI Mid index in 2004, it was normalized at 1000 points.
