St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX)

The St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) was founded in 2008 and has since become the largest commodities exchange in the Russian Federation.

More than 50 financial services providers participate in the exchange. Derivatives which use petroleum and petroleum-based products as their underlying assets are the primary contracts traded on the SPIMEX.

The SPIMEX Composite Index tracks the price performance of combined light petroleum products. The exchange also publishes individual indexes which track the performance of specific petroleum products.

Trading hours: Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. MSK (UTC+3)
Settlement cycle: T+2
