Swiss Bond Index SBI

The Swiss Bond Index (SBI) tracks developments in the prices of fixed-rate bonds which are denominated by the Swiss franc (CHF) and have initial offerings of CHF 100 million or more.

The SBI T index tracks total performance (this is generally referred to as the SBI), while the SBI Domestic sub index only tracks domestic Swiss bonds and the SBI Foreign sub index only tracks foreign bonds listed on Swiss exchanges. The SBI Domestic Government sub index only tracks Swiss government bond performance.

Only bonds which have a rating of BBB or higher are accounted for, with the rating used being derived from ratings given by Fedafin, Fitch, Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and three major Swiss banks.
