Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

The term “total cost of ownership” (TCO) refers to the total cost of all charges involved with using an investment product. In the case of investment funds, including exchange traded funds (ETFs), the TCO is found by adding the total expense ratio (TER), the front-end load and the back-end load.
