Umbrella Fund

An umbrella fund is an investment fund which encompasses multiple subfunds in a single legal entity with a single prospectus applying to all subfunds.

Each subfund making up an umbrella fund is comprised of its own set of shares, and investors who buy shares in a subfund are only shareholders in that subfund and not in the entire umbrella fund.
