Standard coverage
General
Worldwide coverage.
The insurance coverage extends to the policyholder (in case of the individual insurance) or the policyholder and the family (with children), spouse or cohabitee of the policyholder (in case of the family insurance).
Stamp taxes of 5 percent included.
Choice of legal representation: the insurance company has the right to reject a lawyer proposed by the insured person. The insured person may then propose three lawyers from different law firms in the relevant jurisdiction, from which the insurance company can select the lawyer to be appointed.
The insurer can terminate the contract before the end of the insurance year.
Minimum contract duration: 1 year. The contract will automatically renew for another year unless termination notice is given.
The insurance coverage will be granted if the legal case arose after a waiting period of 2 months after the commencement of the insurance.
No minimum amount in dispute.
Special coverage: Real estate law.
Exclusions: If the driver was not authorized to drive the vehicle.
