Euroclear

The Euroclear group is an international central securities depository (CSD) operator which provides CSD services to a number of stock exchanges in various European countries. Euroclear manages approximately 27 trillion euros worth of securities and is one of the largest CSD service providers in the world in terms of volume.

In addition to the six individual CSDs which Euroclear manages on behalf of partner exchanges in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Finland, Euroclear also operates an international central securities depository which manages securities issued in 48 markets. Euroclear is the preferred CSD of Euronext exchanges.
