General

General information:

Additional to cancellation cost and personal assistance insurance, a legal protection insurance is included.
Vehicle assistance insurance and luggage are available for an extra fee (Variant Comfort).
Only for persons resident in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Termination of contract:

Three-year contract with cancellation right each year (does not apply to young people). The insurance is extended automatically if it is not cancelled at least 3 months before it ends.

Stamp taxes included. Additional discounts for young people. Discount for families with kids. Be aware that premiums for persons above a certain age are higher.

Vehicle assistance:

Accomodation & catering:

Additional travel costs incurred are covered. Assistance: Necessary accommodation and food costs in a middle-class hotel for a maximum of 10 days (excluding hospital costs).

Interruption and replacement:

If a serious illness or accident forces the insurance holder to abandon the trip, a replacement trip is covered.

Luggage:

As supplemental insurance available.

Travel legal protection:

Motor legal protection and travel legal protection worldwide up to CHF 100,000, in Europe up to CHF 1,000,000.
Traffic legal protection (only in the 24 h motor vehicle assistance): No coverage in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Medical expenses:

Not included in the insurance.
