The risk carrier is Helvetia.
Only for persons resident in Switzerland.

Termination of contract:

The insurance is extended automatically each year if it is not cancelled at least 1 month before it ends.

Trip cancellation insurance (comments):

Worldwide coverage.
Deductible of 10 percent for the amount above CHF 10,000 (for families: 20 percent above CHF 20,000).
In the event of theft of personal documents or termination of employment or taking up employment: Limitation of benefits to CHF 10,000 per event (CHF 20,000 for families).
Additional costs caused by delayed departure are covered up to CHF 3000 per person.

Accomodation & catering:

Additional costs such as accommodation and catering abroad, up to a maximum of CHF 700 per person (using a rental car up to CHF 1000, no matter how many people use the rental car).

Interruption and replacement:

If a serious illness or accident forces the insurance holder to abandon the trip, a replacement trip worth up to CHF 5000 (CHF 10,000 for families) is covered. The proportional costs of the unused travel arrangement are covered up to CHF 10,000 per person (families: CHF 20,000 per booking).

Luggage:

Luggage (with the exception of valuable items) is insured up to a maximum of CHF 1,000 (maximum CHF 4000 per trip) against loss, damage or delay, if it is with a transport company.

Travel legal protection:

Not included in the insurance.

Medical expenses:

Not included in the insurance.
