Good News for ice hockey fans which use Sunrise: MySports channels are now available to Sunrise customers.
All Sunrise TV subscribers can now watch MySports One at no additional cost. This also applies to Sunrise Neo plan subscribers.
Pay TV package MySports Pro free of charge for 9 months
Additionally, Sunrise TV subscribers have the option of adding the MySports Pro pay TV bundle which includes numerous additional MySports channels. This option is not available to Sunrise TV Neo subscribers.
Sunrise is running a special promotion by which Sunrise TV subscribers get free access to MySports Pro for the first 9 months. This offer is only available to Sunrise TV subscribers and cannot be accessed with Sunrise TV Neo.
UPC subscribers who do not already have existing MySports Pro subscriptions are also getting 9 months of MySports Pro access free of charge.
According to Sunrise, subscribers can choose to deactivate the pay TV subscription at no extra cost before the 9-month introductory period expires. However, subscribers must actively request the suspension of the MySports Pro subscription.
Verdict by telecom expert Ralf Beyeler
Sunrise subscribers have had to wait a long time for Swiss ice hockey broadcasts from MySports to reach their screens. Sunrise competitor Swisscom already added MySports to its TV subscription several months ago.
After the merger of UPC and Sunrise, it is finally possible for Sunrise subscribers to watch MySports broadcasts as well.
The 9-month promotional offer for free pay TV access is very generous, states Ralf Beyeler. It is a shame that existing UPC customers who already subscribe to MySports Pro cannot benefit from the offer.
