General

General information:

VCS protection letter for non-motorized persons.
Insurer is ERV.
Coverage limitation to Europe also possible - here worldwide coverage used for premium calculation.
In addition to cancellation costs and assistance insurance, legal protection is included in premiums.
Only for persons domiciled or habitually resident in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Termination of contract:

No cancellation period.

Vehicle assistance:

Not included in the insurance.

Accomodation & catering:

Additional costs such as accommodation and catering abroad, up to a maximum of CHF 3000 per person.

Interruption and replacement:

The unused part of the trip is covered up to CHF 20,000 per person / CHF 50,000 per family.

Luggage:

In the event of a delay of at least six hours in the delivery of luggage, the insurance will cover the costs of strictly necessary purchases up to a maximum of CHF 1000 per person and CHF 4000 per booking. There is no entitlement to compensation on the return journey home.

Travel legal protection:

Legal protection costs of up to CHF 250,000 in Europe, otherwise up to CHF 50,000 (per event). Coverage Switzerland/Principality of Liechtenstein has to be concluded separately.

Medical expenses:

Optional rider at additional cost: Medical care and hospital stays up to CHF 100,000 per person (ERV Insurance).
For people who have not yet reached their 80th birthday.
No coverage in Switzerland.
