ZWEX Zürcher Wohneigentumsindex

The ZWEX is a real estate index published by the Zürcher Kantonalbank in collaboration with market research firm IAZI /CIFI which publishes the IAZI Swiss Property Benchmark. The ZWEX tracks the cost of housing in the Canton of Zurich.

The ZWEX is derived from the averages of 3 sub-indices: The ZWEX See index tracks the cost of real estate in municipalities which border Lake Zurich; the ZWEX Regio index tracks the cost of real estate in urban and suburban municipalities in the Canton of Zurich, excluding municipalities which border Lake Zurich; the ZWEX Land index tracks the cost of real estate in rural municipalities in the Canton of Zurich.
