When it comes to home Internet plans, Swiss consumers are most satisfied with the speed of their connections, and least satisfied with special promotional offers. Those are the most important findings of moneyland.ch’s 2024 Swiss home Internet plan survey. A total of 1500 participants took part in the survey.
Survey participants rated their Internet plans based on Internet connection speed, customer service, notice periods for terminating plans, and special promotions. Participants also rated their overall satisfaction with their Internet service providers. Ratings were given on a scale of 1 (not at all satisfied) to 10 (completely satisfied).
The results show that customers are most satisfied with the speed of their Internet connections, with this criterion receiving a rating of 7.6 out of 10 points. Satisfaction with special promotional offers is much lower, with this criterion receiving just 6.7 points.
Wingo ahead of Yallo and Quickline
Wingo received the highest average score, accounting for all criteria, with 7.9 points. It is followed by Yallo with 7.6 points and Quickline with 7.4 points. The lowest average customer satisfaction ratings went to the three big telecom service providers Swisscom (7.2 points), Salt (7.1 points), and Sunrise (6.7 points).

Satisfaction with Internet connection speeds
How satisfied are Swiss consumers with the speed of their Internet connections? The average rating for this criterion across all Internet service providers is 7.6 out of 10 points. That makes connection speeds the highest-rated criterion. But there are differences between Internet service providers. Swisscom and Wingo received a 7.8-point rating for their Internet connection speeds, while Salt received 7.6 points and Sunrise got a 7.2-point rating.
Satisfaction with customer service
The average rating for customer service across all providers is 7.3 points. Quickline, Wingo, and Yallo received the highest ratings, with all of them getting 7.7 points for customer service. Sunrise received the lowest rating for customer service, at 6.3 out of 10 points.
Satisfaction with notice periods
Customer satisfaction with the notice periods for terminating home Internet plans averaged 7 points across all service providers. Wingo received the highest rating, with 8.2 out of 10 points. Sunrise sits at the bottom end of the spectrum, with 6.5 points.
Satisfaction with special promotional offers
Consumers rated their satisfaction with special promotions from their home Internet plan providers with 6.7 points, on average. Wingo received the highest rating, with 8 out of 10 points. Sunrise received the lowest rating, with 6.3 points.
Overall customer satisfaction with Internet service providers
Consumers rated their overall satisfaction with their home Internet plan providers with 7.6 points, on average. Wingo has the highest rating in this regard, with 8.1 points. Sunrise has the lowest rating, with 7.2 points.

Market research institute Ipsos was commissioned by moneyland.ch to carry out a representative online survey of customer satisfaction with Swiss Internet service providers. A total of 1500 residents were asked to rate their satisfaction with their home Internet plan providers for these criteria: Internet connection speed, customer service, notice period, promotional offers, and overall satisfaction. Survey participants rated each factor on a scale of 1 (not at all satisfied) to 10 (completely satisfied).
