Within the scope of individual insurance: the policyholder. Within the scope of household insurance: the policyholder and those persons who live with him/her permanently in the same household. In addition: children in education who regularly return to his household as weekly residents.

25% discount for people up to 26 years. 10% discount for persons 60 years and older. Premiums include stamp duty of 5%.

Choice of legal representation: the insurance company has the right to reject a lawyer proposed by the insured person. The insured person may then propose three lawyers from different law firms in the relevant jurisdiction, from which the insurance company can select the lawyer to be appointed.

Cancellation by the insurance company in the following cases: Before the end of the insurance year for the following year. After an insured event has been paid. If facts of risk have been concealed. Minimum contract duration: 5 years, with annual right of cancellation. The contract will automatically renew for another year unless termination notice is given 3 months in advance.

The waiting period does not apply in the event of a contract renewal/adjustment or a seamless change from the previous insurer if the corresponding risk was already insured and the original waiting period has expired.

Exclusions (examples): Disputes that involve drugs or alcohol. If the driver was not authorized to drive the vehicle. When acquiring or re-acquiring a driver’s license.

Up to 1000 francs compensation per calendar year for consultations in the following areas of law: personal, family, matrimonial, expropriation, school (without contesting examination results), inheritance and public building law. 

Costs of mediation: covered. Translation and travelling expenses (legal case abroad): covered up to 5000 francs.
