Notice period:

The insurer can terminate the contract at the latest 3 months before the end of the contract or calendar year.

Premiums and discounts:

Amount of premiums varies depending on the age, place of residence and gender of the insured person. There is a co-payment. Discount with cost sharing (deductible) and for early payment.

Spa and convalescent therapy:

The insured persons receive up to CHF 90 per day for up to 21 days per calendar year for spa therapies and convalescent therapies.
CHF 130 per day for a maximum of 28 days per calendar year for cures at the Dead Sea in Israel or Jordan for the treatment of psoriasis or vitiligo.
A maximum of 1 cure in the mentioned scope is paid per calendar year.

Maternity:

Confinement in Sanitas-accredited maternity facilities in Switzerland. Waiting period: 9 months.

Rooming in:

No coverage.

Home help:

CHF 25 per hour (max. CHF 750 per calendar year).
In the event of childbirth, the aforementioned benefits are paid for a maximum of 14 days within one month of childbirth and are deducted from the maximum duration of benefits.

Home care:

CHF 50 per day (during a maximum of 90 days per calendar year).
In the event of childbirth, the aforementioned benefits are paid for a maximum of 14 days within one month of childbirth and are deducted from the maximum duration of benefits.

Emergency transport costs:

Psychiatry:

Two-bed room for a maximum of 180 days in contractual hospitals. After 180 days coverage of treatment costs and a maximum of CHF 100 per day for accommodation and nursing care. At AHV age, these benefits are paid for a maximum of 720 days within 900 days.

Priority access: examined by a specialist within seven days.
Expert second opinion.
Special private expenses (directly related to hospitalization): max. CHF 100 per hospitalization.
