General information:

Helsana Completa combines the supplemental insurances Top and Sana and offers additional services.

Notice period:

The insurer can terminate the contract at the latest 3 months before the end of the contract or calendar year.

Premiums and discounts:

There is a discount for taking out a 3-year contract. Family discount: 5-10%. Premiums depend on various factors such as age, gender and place of residence. Premiums for over-65s are a maximum of 3x the premiums for 30-year-olds and for over-70s a maximum of 4x the premiums for 30-year-olds.

Glasses and contact lenses:

Cost contribution to eyeglass lenses, contact lenses and vision aids: 90 percent up to CHF 300 per calendar year.

Vaccinations:

Vaccinations, prevention and ultrasound: 90 percent up to CHF 750 per calendar year.

Preventative examinations:

Vaccinations, prevention and ultrasound: 90 percent up to CHF 750 per calendar year.

Gym memberships:

Cost contribution to approved courses: 75 percent up to CHF 200 per area (CHF 500 area pregnancy) and calendar year.

Medicines:

90 percent for medicines accepted by Swissmedic. 50% according to list of Helsana group. 75% for complementary medicines.

Alternative medicine:

Outpatient: 75 percent. Inpatient: Up to CHF 5000 per calendar year.

Psychotherapy:

Non-physician psychotherapy: 75 percent up to CHF 4500 per calendar year together with ligation and correction of protruding ears.

Search & rescue in Switzerland:

Emergency transportation and rescue up to CHF 100,000 per calendar year.

Search & rescue abroad:

Full coverage.

Medical costs abroad:

Full coverage in case of emergency treatments in case of an illness or accident abroad.

Tooth misalignment treatments:

Treatment of tooth misalignment up to the age of 20: 75 percent up to CHF 10,000 per calendar year.
Contributions to the costs of school or youth dental care are taken into account.

Dental treatments:

No benefits.

Spa & convalescent therapy :

No benefits.

Equipment:

90 percent up to CHF 1500 per calendar year.

Sterilization:

75 percent up to CHF 4500 per calendar year, together with psychotherapy and correction of protruding ears.

Maternity:

Additional ultrasound examinations.
A waiting period of 365 days applies.

Ear corrections:

Cost contribution to correction of protruding ears up to the age of 20: 75 percent up to CHF 4500 per calendar year together with psychotherapy and ligation.

Home care:

No benefits.

Additional services:

Search abroad: up to CHF 20,000 per person and event.
Targeted outpatient treatments abroad: 90%, up to CHF 1000 per calendar year.
Outpatient treatment in Switzerland by non-patient physicians: 90% (without psychotherapy).
